Knowledge Hub: Macmillan Centre for Learning
Macmillan Centre for Learning has launched a Knowledge Hub for those working in people-based services. Through a yearly subscription an individual, or organisations, can have access to materials that have been of value to our students. The resources cover a range of areas that are found within people-based services, however, can also be useful if you are interested in developing your understanding of Team needs.
Sign up to “See more“ Social Care Theory for no charge.
Subscription, however, gives you full access a vast range of resources. See details below:
The Knowledge Hub uses a facility called “Bookstack”. This offers the opportunity to browse through research and study materials as you would in a library. The “Shelves” are set out in subjects and within each shelf you will find “Books”, “Chapters” and “Pages” with content associated with the Shelf subject. Individual yearly subscription: £50 and for group subscriptions contact: macmillancentreforlearning@gmail.com
The aim of the Knowledge Hub is to provide a Virtual Learning Environment presenting underpinning knowledge for professionals across people-based services where they can align thinking and practice in a holistic approach to meet the needs of individuals, they provide a service for. This is perfect for those carrying out Social Sector qualifications or Continuous Professional Development.
